About WebUtil
Free developer tools — private, fast, and built for the web.
What WebUtil Is
WebUtil is a collection of free online developer tools designed to handle everyday tasks — formatting JSON, encoding Base64, generating passwords, testing regular expressions, converting colors, and more. Every tool is self-contained, runs client-side, and requires no installation or account.
Why It Exists
Developers constantly need quick utilities — a JSON formatter, a URL encoder, a password generator. Most existing solutions are either bloated, require sign-up, send data to servers, or are littered with ads. WebUtil exists to provide a clean, fast, and reliable alternative that respects your time and your privacy.
Privacy-First Processing
No Server Uploads
Your data never leaves your browser. Every tool processes entirely on your device.
No Tracking
We don't use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you personally.
No Storage
We don't store or log your input data. Once you leave, nothing remains.
Open Source
Our code is public on GitHub — anyone can audit it.
Browser-Based Tools
Every tool on WebUtil uses only standard web technologies — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There are no backend servers, no API calls, and no database queries. This means:
- • Instant load — No server round-trips means tools are ready immediately.
- • Offline capable — Many tools work even without an internet connection after the initial visit.
- • Zero data leaks — Sensitive data (passwords, tokens, API keys) never reaches a network.
Who Maintains It
WebUtil is maintained by Noureddine Driouech, an independent developer passionate about building useful, privacy-respecting web tools. The entire project is open source and contributions, feedback, and suggestions are welcome.
